MAGPPA will offer as a pre-conference add-on experience, the 2026 Golf Tournament, at Tupelo National Golf Course on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM CST until play concludes.
This year’s golf tournament format will be a shotgun scramble. All teams/players will start simultaneously (same time) from various locations (different holes) scattered throughout the course. This will allow for a more efficient tournament flow and ensure that everyone finishes roughly at the same time. Each player is required to play a tee shot. The team captain then chooses the best shot, and all other team members pick up their balls and drop within one club-length of the chosen shot. The process continues until a player from the team successfully hits the ball into the hole. The team’s overall score for the hole is determined by tallying the best shots taken.
Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the tournament start time. Team and team hole assignments will occur upon arrival. All team members must be present at tee time. Each team will progress through the course until they’ve played all holes, thus the entire course.
Your registration includes greens fee, golf cart, balls, and a chance at prizes.
On course drinks will be available.
